Front Desk Manager – Holiday Inn Express & Suites, Vaudreuil-Dorion (QC)
Permanent full-time position: 40 hours per week
Must be available days, evenings, nights, and weekends as needed.
Requirements:
- 2 to 4 years of experience in a similar role
- Knowledge of the OPERA software (an asset)
- Fluent in both French and English
- Holds a diploma in hospitality management

Being a Front Desk Manager at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites means:
- Enforcing hotel policies and procedures in accordance with IHG guidelines
- Planning, organizing, directing, controlling, and evaluating daily operations, ensuring service standards are met
- Assisting and supporting the General Manager in developing strategies to meet IHG’s objectives and performance indicators
- Participating in the hiring process, training new employees, work allocation, performance evaluations, and conflict management
- Engaging and motivating the team in daily activities by fostering a positive work environment and good working relationships
- Coordinating hotel maintenance and preventive maintenance in the absence of the General Manager
- Participating in various committees such as the Continuous Improvement Committee and Health & Safety Committee
- Managing room blocks and accounting for all deposits
- Preparing and managing work schedules and administrative tasks in the Emprez software
